Compassionate Action Educational Curriculum

Hi!  I’m Jennifer Skiff.  Many of you know me because I travel the world helping animals. How did I get to do this? I did it by turning my compassion into action! I now help empower others to do the same. And with help from enrichment educator Camille Licate, and a grant from the Andrew Sabin Family Foundation, we’ve created the Compassionate Action course curriculum and are providing it free of charge to educators throughout the world. Whether you’re a schoolteacher, a humane educator, or are looking for an interactive and exciting class to teach kids at camp, in animal shelters, nature centers or through your NGO charities, please consider this is a gift for you to share.

The truth is, all too often we see things that upset us. We want to change what we witness but feel helpless. This inspiring course gives students the tools to create the change they want to see.

The Compassionate Action educational curriculum, in addition to the book, Rescuing Ladybugs: Inspirational Encounters with Animals that Changed the World, profiles world heroes who refused to look away from a situation that needed to change, and shows how their action has helped change the world not only for animals, but for people too!

We have two courses to choose from: one for grades 5-8, and another for grades 9-12.  Please follow the link and we’ll set you up with a curriculum that can be integrated into: geography, art, social studies, life science, writing, language arts, and technology.  It’s a perfect course for common core lessons, service-learning projects, and project-based lessons.

Let’s get started!  Just fill out the form below and we’ll reply with an email that contains the curriculum packet.  Good luck and please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions.
