Compassionate Action Educational Curriculum

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to see your students ignite their compassion and turn it into action? We often witness situations of injustice happening against people, animals, and the environment that leave us feeling helpless. This inspiring, free course gives students the tools they need to create the change they want to see.

My name is Jennifer Skiff. I travel the world as a diplomatic strategist for animals and serve as the Director of International Programs for two animal welfare organizations. I love helping create positive change for animals and people and do it by converting my compassion into action. And you can too! The Compassionate Action Educational Curriculum and companion book, Rescuing Ladybugs: Inspirational Encounters with Animals that Changed the World, profiles world heroes who refused to look away from a situation and shows how their action helped change the world – not only for animals, but for people too! The curriculum, created with renown enrichment educator Camille Licate, provides lessons to inspire, projects to motivate, and templates that progress procedures, protocols and laws for a brighter world. Whether you’re a school teacher, humane educator, or are looking for an interactive and exciting class to teach kids; at camp, animal shelters, nature centers, or charities, please consider this curriculum a gift from me to you that has been made possible by the Andrew Sabin Family Foundation.

We have two courses to choose from: one for grades 5-8, and another for grades 9-12.  Please follow the link and we’ll set you up with a curriculum that can be integrated into: geography, art, social studies, life science, writing, language arts, and technology.  It’s a perfect course for common core lessons, service-learning projects, and project-based lessons.

Let’s get started!  Just fill out the form below and we’ll reply with an email that contains the curriculum packet.  Good luck and please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions.
